Saskatchewan province like any other province has their own provincial nomination program to nominate the skilled and capable immigrants to live and settle in the province and help them to develop the economy of the province. Saskatchewan Immigration Nominee Program (SINP) has different categories to apply under but for skilled individuals who have work experience can apply under Occupation in –demand (OID) category.

Now, in order to apply under OID category, candidates have to create an express entry profile where their profile will be evaluated based on various factors like age, education, work experience, language proficiency, adaptability etc. For the profile to be considered for SINP, they have to create a separate profile from the express entry profile under Saskatchewan Immigration Nominee Program (SINP). Candidates will need to put in particulars like above and pay the processing fees for SINP application.

BENEFITS OF APPLYING UNDER SASKATCHEWAN OID STREAM:

One of the main features of this program is that the immigrant needs not to have a job offer in order to apply under this program.  Candidates who are having the work experience in any of the profession listed in occupation in-demand can directly apply for the permanent residence visa in the province. Candidate’s whose application will be selected by the province for Canadian pr will be awarded 600 points in their profile. The processing time for each application is approximately 4 months.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

In order to apply under this program, candidates need to meet the following eligibility criteria’s:

  • A minimal score of 60 points out of 100 in Saskatchewan point assessment grid is required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience in the past 10 years in your field of occupation.
  • Must have a minimum CLB 4 in your language proficiency.
  • Proof of eligibility to get a working license in Saskatchewan if your trade requires official regulation or is an obligatory apprenticeship trade.
  • Permanent resident offer along with the offer of full-time employment in Saskatchewan.
