Alberta is a popular Canada immigration province which has standard immigration criteria. The province is well-known for being a viable alternative for the top immigration provinces in Canada like Ontario.

However, you need to have the right attributes in order to qualify for Alberta PNP and it all starts with submitting the right documents. Below we are going to provide a list of all the documents you will need to submit for Alberta PNP.

But before we do that, let us give you an overview of the AINP or Alberta Immigration Nomination Program process.

What Does the AINP Need to Process Your Application?

The AINP follows the standard Canada immigration application process used for most provinces. The applicant needs to have created an Express Entry profile which has a CRS score less than the CRS score issued in the latest draw. Usually, the score is slightly above or below 440 CRS points.

67 Points are a Must-Have

The applicant must, however, have at least 67 points out of 100 in the assessment grid. This score will be based on specific factors as mentioned in the applicant’s profile. Only if the applicant has a minimum score of 67 points are they eligible to apply.

Please note here that the Express Entry score and the Points Assessment Grid are both based on your Profile Attributes like age, education, language ability, work experience etc. However, they use different methods to calculate your score and you should not confuse one with the other. Valid Job Offer is a Must-Have

The next step for proving ANIP eligibility is having a job offer from an Alberta employer. All candidates who apply for Alberta PNP need to have an active and valid job offer from a registered Alberta employer. This employer must also be willing to file documentation from their end to bring the applicant into Canada.

Only applicants who have such a job offer will be considered by Alberta for PNP nomination. Further, for certain jobs which require a license from a Canadian authorizing body, the applicant must have the license prior to applying. Certain jobs are also currently not required in Alberta and even if you have a job offer, you may not be considered for immigration. Documentation Requirements for Alberta PNP Program

The following is a list of all the documents that you need to submit to make a valid Alberta PNP application:

  1. AINP Form 005 Submitted by Your Future Employer

As per the rules of Alberta PNP authorities, any applicant for PNP for the province needs to have a valid employment offer. “When the application is being filed, the employer will also need to submit a certain form to help validate the PNP application. The employer will also need to be registered with the AINP authorities before Form 005 can be filed.

  1. AINP Form 003 Submitted by You

When you are making the AINP immigration nomination, you will need to provide Form 003 which s specially designed to skilled workers. This application will need to be made together with the application made by your future employers in Alberta. That is why you need to have a good communication with your employer so that both forms can be submitted together.

  1. CIC Forms/Work Permit

AINP requires that certain forms which show that you have an Express Entry profile which qualifies the 67-point assessment grid requirement must be submitted. This must be done along with the previous form we mentioned for the fastest processing time.

  1. Valid Passport/Travel Documents

At the time when you make your application for Alberta PNP, you need to have a valid Indian passport which will be valid till the time you immigrate. The same goes for all dependents who will be traveling with you. Copies of each passport will need to be submitted along with your application.

  1. Work Experience Letters

Documents showing that you have worked in professional organizations must be submitted at the time of making the Alberta PNP application. These letters must show that you have at least 2 years or 24 months of experience in your specific professional field in the last 30 months. The job you are going to pursue in Alberta after immigrating must also be in the same line of work that you have experience in.

  1. Educational Certificates

While this has been covered in the Express Entry profile, you need to submit the Educational Credentials Assessment document once more. This is done to double check with the CIC and facilitate the Labor Market Impact Assessment form which will ensure your skills will suit the current needs of Alberta’s economy.

  1. IELTS/CLB Exam Scores

Just as with your Express Entry profile, you will need to resubmit your language ability scores when you make your AINP immigration application. This document will also be used to create the LMIA report and ensure your immigration is required in Alberta.

  1. Personal ID Proofs

This is the final set of documents which will be required for submitting your AINP application. Every person who will be traveling with you must also submit their personal ID documents.
